Repaya Less friction around personal loans

FAQ

Clear answers for a relationship-first product.

Repaya sits in an unusual space: not a lender, not a payment processor, and not a legal contract tool. These answers are here to make the intent of the product easier to understand.

Is Repaya a bank or payment app?

No. Repaya does not move money or enforce repayment. It is a shared record for personal loans between people who already trust each other.

Why not just track this in texts, paper, or payment history?

That works for some people at first, but those records usually end up scattered across different places and one person still has to reconstruct the story later. Repaya keeps the shared context in one place so follow-up feels less tense and less personal.

Who is Repaya for?

Repaya is built for parents helping adult children, friends covering emergencies, partners sharing large purchases, and roommates handling bigger costs.

What if I usually avoid lending money altogether?

A lot of people do. Repaya is not trying to convince anyone to lend more often. It is for the situations where you do want to help and want a calmer way to keep that help from turning into stress.

Do borrowers need an account?

No. Borrowers can use a private share link to view balances and progress without creating an account.

How does pricing work?

You can start free with 1 active loan, monthly payments, a shared borrower view, and 1 automated reminder per loan sent either the day before or the day of the due date. Pro is coming soon and is planned to launch at $6.99/month with multiple loans, more payment frequencies, customizable pre-due reminders, overdue reminders after a grace period, and simple notification controls.

Can I use it right now?

Yes. You can start with the free core flow today and create your first loan right away.
